BIB5210 Advanced Tools & Methods of Biblical Studies

The course develops student study habits and research agendas by exploring and implementing the most relevant websites, biblical language software, ebook platforms, and more, which are most conducive for academic endeavors. Students will be introduced to these offerings through explanatory lectures and through various “hands on” projects, to give students the necessary experience in order to pursue further study with confidence.
How This Course Benefits Students:
Students will learn about most of the relevant tools that are utilized by students, pastors, and scholars around the world. Having this skill-set for research and study will give students added confidence and discernment in their research.
Why This Course Is Important:
If we are not familiar with the various tools out there to aid our study and research, we may become overwhelmed at the prospect. The available materials out there provide a helpful way to aid us as we attempt to engage the Scriptures more deeply for the sake of discovering what the missio Dei is and how we are called to participate in it.
