This course will apply what students will learn in lecture about basic chemistry background to real world application. This course is a prequisite for General Chemistry II.

Having a fundamental background in chemistry is essential to understanding biological processes. This course will provide the basic background needed for advanced chemistry and biology courses. Students will later apply what they learned in this course to more advanced courses.
