Course Description:

This course applies ideas from Weather and Climate by examining climate zones and factors that affect local climate. This will include the seasonal cycle, the Koppen-Geiger climate classification scheme, monsoons, trade winds, and the effects of local topography. Particular consideration will be given to the 10/40 window.
