Course Description:

A successful grant proposal is well-researched, thoughtfully planned, and concisely written. This course will introduce students to the federal, state, and local sources of funding available for a specific project. Key concepts, including policies and legal aspects of funding will be covered. Students will learn to research, plan, budget and write a strong grant proposal.

It is necessary for students to learn the many sources of funding that exist at all levels to promote growth for small businesses, non-profit organizations, large institutions and church ministry. It helps to know foundations that are giving the most, along with their overall purpose, the kinds of Christian organizations they fund, and the kinds of programs that interest them.
