Course Description:

An ethical overview of military ethical issues including philosophical foundations of military ethics, Just War Theory, military professionalism, and current challenges will be studied.

How This Course Benefits Students:

Might does not make right ethically. Also, sometimes intervention, although unfortunate, is the ethical pathway. Professional servicepersonnel have an ethical underpinning. Understanding these dynamics is important for ministry.

Why This Course Is Important:

Pillars of ethics and ethical theories flow largely out of religious thought and tradition. It would benefit those working in the military environment to be able to translate biblical foundations to the language of institutional ethics.
