Youth leaders often deploy a ready fire aim approach. This course examines the fundamentals of urban ministry development (e.g. counting the cost, defining purpose, understanding urban context, implementing clear strategies), and presents strategic frameworks for youth ministry development.
How This Course Benefits Students:
People engaged in or seeking to enter urban youth ministry need tangible models and a solid biblical basis for urban youth development. This course will help students establish a framework out of which they can pursue a transformational ministry among the youth they serve/plan to serve.
Why This Course Is Important:
Transformational Discipleship, as a missional approach to urban youth discipleship, is new to the urban ministry scene. Its focus on youth leadership multiplication at the grass-root level addresses a significant need in city-centers across the country.
