MCG3310 Missional Community Transformation

Credit Hours: 3 Credits
Introduces students to reflective practice within congregational dynamics. The student will understand the various ways in which the missional community can adapt in an environment of discontinuous change. It will focus on the leadership dynamics necessary to navigate change.
How This Course Benefits Students:
Contextual theology is at the core of the missional imagination. This course will expose the students to various methods and resources to equip him or her to do contextual theology.
Why This Course Is Important:
One of the biggest challenges of the local missional community is that of change. How can the community both (a) seek to change in proactive ways to keep in step with Gods movement, and (b) deal with external forces that necessitate adaptation in times of discontinuous change. This course will introduce and equip the student to understand and lead in this context.
