MWS4310 Leading Multicultural Worship

With an aspiration for leading effective multicultural worship, this course aims to research new models for Christian worship that foster cultural sensitivity and biblical worldview. Emphasis is on building a theological framework that promotes cultural diversity that mirrors the kingdom of God.
How This Course Benefits Students:
Students will gain general knowledge on the definition of multicultural worship and its role in the church. Students will be able to analyze the diverse cultures of their local church. Analyze worship trends and the biblical examples of true, false and vain worship. Students will be able to describe cultural worship and culture issues in the context of Christian worship.
Why This Course Is Important:
This is an undergraduate course that establishes biblical principles for worship with an appreciation for diverse local, national and world cultures that are demographic. Students will be able to understand why some churches struggle and determine whether the worship in their church integrates or assimilates cultures.
