PSY3110 Cultural Diversity in Rehabilitation Counseling

This course will explore diverse populations and the beliefs systems in the cultural that may influence rehabilitation counseling on an advanced level. Students will learn various cultures and gain insight about how treat clients with rehabilitation needs through case studies.

In todays world, we are seeing an increase in injury, crime, and addictions among other stressors which create a need for rehabilitation counseling. This course will assist students in learning practices and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations needed to provide proper care to rehabilitation clients from diverse populations.
