Course Description:

This course will explore the skills and abilities that are necessary to provide effective placement services for people with disabilities including areas such as schools, vocational, career, and housing. Students will also identify and define state and federal guidelines regarding placement services for clients with disabilities or other special needs.

In todays world, we are seeing an increase in injury, crime, and addictions among other stressors. This course is important to the University as it will assist students at an advanced level in learning practices and procedures as well as state and federal laws and regulations needed to provide proper care to clients in need with rehabilitation.
