REL3131 The Life of Muhammad

Foundational course on the primary source documents and key issues regarding the Prophet of Islam. Students will do some readings in original sources and develop an overview of the key periods of Muhammads life.
How This Course Benefits Students:
Students need to understand the foundational role of Muhammad and see modern conflicts within and outside of Islam as having a primary foundation in the life and practices of Muhammad. The Muslim world cannot be understood apart from this.
Why This Course Is Important:
All the activities of this course are designed to foster missional outreach of the Gospel to the Muslim world.
