THS3200 Moral Theology in Community Development

Students will expand their knowledge and skills based on Biblical principles which lead to good community development practice based on sound ethical thinking.
How This Course Benefits Students:
There are many missional endeavors that revolve around community development. The student will complete this course with a clear understanding of sound biblically ethical principles to help him/her as community development strategies are designed. The course will emphasize that an ethical foundation must undergird all missional endeavors to avoid pragmatism pitfalls.
Why This Course Is Important:
Too often those in Christian ministry fall into the temptations of pragmatism and varieties of the end justifies the means. This course aims to keep the student focused on doing the right things in community development the right way.
